Talked to dealer yesterday, they were saying that the spyders are behind schedule for delivery?
kinda figured this
I can confirm that when i spoke to Lamborghini Personell in Geneva Motorshow
I'm hearing anything from 1 - 4 months behind. As an example, the two dealerships in NY were supposed to get their demo cars in mid-Jan/early-Feb, and they're just now scheduled to arrive in 2 - 3 weeks.
Have no idea if this helps, but Sport Auto in NC has a black one in stock. Might only be a demo car, since the description has everything as "buyer's choice".
What is the delay due to?
I would say that the "delay" would be to allow the cars to trickle in, so that the values will remain strong and above sticker for a while. Lambo cannot have a repeat of what happened when the coupe came out, which was a devaluation from $15k over MSRP for the first deliveries to MSRP or a little less within a few months. Keep the Spyder supply scarce and prices will remain very strong.
that blows. i was really looking forward to my new car. how else will my friends know I'm cool?
Dave tell me its not so. I see your old car is at Fox Valley for sale.
sold to someone in fox valley.
I'm not sure if you meant me, but my ride is in the garage.
There are a lot of people in the "area" that were counting on that car being "around" by June or so. Did they give you a new ETA now??
