Soccer star crashes a Gallardo.

Discussion in 'Lamborghini Discussion (not model specific)' started by Fan512bbi, Nov 26, 2004.

  1. SOCCER ace James Beattie has had a second blow — from a FAN crunching his new Lamborghini.
The fan was distracted when he saw Beattie at the wheel.
He veered into the flash motor to avoid hitting another car on a roundabout.
Beattie was heading home from training with Southampton in his £110,000 Lamborghini Gallardo.
The £15,000-a-week star was not hurt and got out to swap details. Beattie, 26, said: “Accidents happen and my car got some light damage.”
Witness Rich Bevis, 30, said: “There was a loud bang. James looked fed up.”

  3. sad to hear, poor gallardo :(

  4. That looks like an easy but expensive repair to me. Replace the bumper cover, headlight, fender, & hood. If any thing he got off lucky, it could have been a lot worse.

  5. Ouch! I hate looking at beautiful exotics getting any kind of damage. At least no one was hurt.

  6. I never did understand the point of a roundabout? Are they really useful?

  8. LOL, I agree.

About the accident, it sucks seeing any exotic get damaged but at least the damage was minor and no one was hurt. I guess this is what insurance is for :)

  9. That's about half a week's salary worth of damage. :)

  10. Yeh he should be able to afford it!
What a stupid fan though, thats some gesture of fanaticism that is!

  11. In the UK our widest roads are only 3 lanes and with the amount of traffic on them roundabouts are useful, and still 80% of people dont know how to use them.
