Discussion in 'Lamborghini Discussion (not model specific)' started by DodgeViper01, Jan 28, 2005.

  1. This has been bothering me for a little while as I have not seen any red Gallardos before. Anyone know if they were ever made? Any pictures?

    Thanking you all in advance

  4. that's the first red pic I've seen
it's pretty sad, it looks nice, there should be more

  5. What about any non-metallic bright reds, similar to a Rossa Corsa. I know Lambo stays away from that being that it is Ferrari's signature color.

  6. No bright reds on the list for the Gallardo. But I'm told Lamborghini can paint your car any color you choose - for a price. :)

They say not for Gallardos though, only custom color on Murcis - at least, that's what one of our Lambo salesman fchatters said earlier. Now you can order Gallardos in the murci factory colors too (yay, lime!).

  9. I thought that is was not on the color pallet but I could not remember what the color packet looked like since I saw it a few months ago. Thanks for the pictures.

  10. Im just about sure for a bag of money, lambo will be happy to do a "rosso corsa" one..just be prepared to put plenty of zeros on the check! in all seriousness, both marques will do whatever u like for the right price...Red is intentionally not offered (so i heard) bc it is a ferrari color...too bad though, in that photoshop it fits the car quite well!

  11. The most beautiful color on a woman or sports car-Red. You can never have enough red on a car or woman!!

  13. since horses are red, why shouldn't Lamborghini come out with a signature color as well......one suggestion find the color the very first Lamborghini was painted or the single color that was offered throughout Lambo's production and make that a signature color and call it 'Ferrucio!!!!!!!!!"

  16. That red belongs to the Ferraris.

  17. yes it makes them go faster.......

  18. Wow, I would have though that they would have finally allowed that Murci "rosso andromeda" but I guess not.

Mahool - Lambo's theme color seems to be yellow now.

  19. Bam's new purple Gallardo.

  20. Does he read Fchat then?

  21. Hey, now! That doesn't look bad at all !!! Got any daytime pics?

BTW, I can't wait to see a lime Gallardo! Lime is the Lambo signature color. Or perhaps orange.

  22. Anyone have any high-res pics of the gallardo in red?

  23. I though yellow was the signature color. Yellow, Orange and Lime Green, all are beauty in my eyes for Lambo.

  24. As Westworld pointed out, yellow is now Lambo's signature colour. According to the factory, roughly 30% of Murcielago's and Gallardo's are yellow.

BTW, the first colour ever used by Lambo has been replicated with Verde Artemis, as seen on the 40th Anniversary edition Murci.

    Sounds about right.

What proportion of Ferraris are red, BTW? I'm guessing more than 30%.

I would prefer that Lamborghini doesn't ever get to the point with yellow that Ferrari has reached with red. Don't get me wrong - I love Ferraris but in my town any gathering of Ferraris is 90% red, which I find boring and mystifyingly conformist. I suspect Ferrari doesn't have the great range of colours that Lamborghini offers, although rosso corsa is a beautiful colour and I understand the racing heritage (blah blah).
