Can anybody explain this one to me? This is the piston and combustion chamber of a 80 LP400S. I pulled the head off and this is what I found. Compression and leakdown showed zero signs of trouble in these cylinders. However, the head was pulled due to a blowen headgasket on number 2 cylinder on the left bank. These are pics from #6 cylinder. The reason I'm posting this here is because even though you can have a leakdown and compression test done..you can still have unforseen expenses later on down the road. The head gasket on this car was replaced previously aswell. These marks have been there for a fair amount of time. So what ever cuased the head to be removed the first time must have caused what the pictures show. It was not reapired correctly and now my customer who has bought the car is stuck fixing it.

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE GUYS!! THERE ARE SHYSTERS EVERYWERE!!
