Sorry for the ignorance, but what does that low hanging rear valence do? Streamline the airflow? Reduce lift?
Makes it easier for water-skiers to get on and off the Lamboat.

yah i think it reduces the airflow under the car to keep the front end from lifting, going too fast in these stream lined cars always has a bad side to it......gotta increase downforce yup yup
It's called a diffuser. It causes the air underneath the car to accelerate, thereby reducing airpressure and adding down force.
