No other Countach variant had so many evolving changes they became known as a series 1, 2 and 3. The love or hate iconic wide wing was introduced, new Pirelli tires were designed and fit, new suspension developed, body spats and front spoiler added, a fantastic looking magnesium wheel was produced then, replaced with a magnesium design to help cool brakes. Lastly, the suspension raised and body dimensions changed on the final series. Did I miss anything? The 400S is what the youth of the late 70's and early 80's came to lust over with the help of Alpine stereo ads, posters and a Cannonball run movie. When it comes to a spacific Countach model, the 400S is a pretty important and intersting run! Most of you know I've owned one for many years and for the others here who own one they will agree, it's one of our favorite collector cars!!!
