Lamborghini's unite at St Pete Festival of Speed

    The FESTIVAL OF SPEED will be held February 25, 26 & 27 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Marina. It includes a Jet hop, Yacht hop, gala and concours. Last year we had over 200 exotics on display and this year the goal is 350. We would like to have at least 75+ Lamborghini's in our "Bull Pen" and our East Cost "Running of the Bulls" We are looking for assistance from club members to help spread the word.

    Car count last year was 208 exotics. This year we expect 325-375 cars, plus 14 yachts in the yacht hop(Ferreti, Riva, Pershing) and over 75 exotic bikes (Aprilia, Ducati).You can e mail me at jferrari1@comcast.net and I will e mail back a link that takes you to over 300 online images of the event last year. Interestingly enough, we have a sponsor who is providing a solid 14kt gold mens ring in the shape of the Lamborghini bull logo with 1 carat in diamonds for the "Peoples" choice Lamborghini.

    How do guests w/o exotics go about attending this? Or must you have an exotic to get in?

    Click on the photo album link ( Album: 2.20-22.04 - FESTIVAL OF SPEED ) and you will have 8 online photo albums to look over.
    Each album is from a different part of the show. Yacht Hop, Gala that type of breakdown.

    We had 208 exotics last year (first year event) and already have 165 cars registered for this year. We expect to close the field out at 350-400 cars. I just finalized the contracts with the hotels and other venues and this show is going to be fantastic. Check out the host hotel (http://marriott.com/property/propertyPage/tpasr). It is a Four diamond hotel 25 feet from the bay with a private marina where we have the yacht hop. Between the jet hop, yacht hop, reception, cigar smoke, on site cafes and concours, it will be great.

    Anyway, please forward the link to all that may be interested. This year the honor marque is Ferrari. Other manufacturers invited for display include, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lotus, Aston martin, Porsche, Mercedes, Jaguar, Iso grifo, and many other high end exotics.
