Koenig in Germany...Anybody buy anything

    These guys have a lot of high performance parts for FCars and Lambos. I've been trying to reach them for over a week with email and fax... No answer.

    Anybody ever do business with them or have first hand knowledge about them?

  4. They are well known, I do know that. Trying to call them and find out more info, but no one wants to answer the phone.
     
  5. I've had some of their performance stuff ages ago. Been in their shop and had Willie take for a spin in a supergarged/turbo charged TR. Outrageously crazy car!
    Communication is best via telephone they have english speaking personel.
    Expensive...

  9. I bought my exhaust from Walter 3 years ago, and was great to work with. His son does most of the e-mailing due to the language, but they do get back to you. I have called and spoke to them several times. Bruce, I know the son is still with the company, but Walter may be taking it easy. If need be, pick up the phone.

  17. Thier TR has a Turbocharger and a supercharger put together?? A twincharger?
     
  18. The first Koneing Testarossa TT = 700ps
    The second one was KOENIG COMPETITION with both Turbo AND SC = 800ps
    The third model was KOENIG COMPETITION EVOLUTION Twin-Turbo = 1000ps

    The KC-800 was built using the same principle of Lancia Delta S4 Rallye Car (remember those group B devils in the 80's?) that is SC for lower rpm and turbo for higher rpms. I think it prove to be difficult in reliability and smoothness that is why Koenig returns to Turbos in the KCE-1000.

    I would assume the tr with the turbo and the sc would be faster (if it was belt driven) because the supercharger would add increased torque/power from the bottem end and when the turbo spools up it would add increased power to the top end.
