    is it my imagination or the Drop Top G- car is cut in halves?
    if so that must be the boldest design in ages isn't it?
    that cockpit won't help when picking chicks up right?
    anyone has better pics?

    That is the Concept S, not the Gallardo Spider.

    2 month ago just called, it wants its picture back :D

    That's just the Concept S car. Audi guys nearly had a heart attack when they saw the prototype ... don't even start thinking about production! Which is a shame.

    I just typed this from page 23 of the current Road and Track magazine. :)


    "Instead of the expected roadster version of the Gallardo, Lamborghini took the wraps off the Concept S at Geneva, a twin cockpit speedster version of the mid engine v10 sports car. Luc Donckerwolke, who designed the Gallardo, develped teh Concept S at Lamborghini Centro Stile. The car employs the Frence "saute-vent" (which means sudden wind shift) that divides the cabin in two and directs air over the heads of the occupants. The flat surface of the divider is also used to channel air directly into the engine. Another slick feature is the electronically controlled rear view mirror that allows the driver to see what's behind him, if he wants to. Chances are, though, that at the speeds the Gallardo can achieve, a mirror won't be necessary."
