Ceramic coated exhaust, pics

  1. Just finished another project. Ceramic coated the entire exhaust from the header pipe back. Also ceramic coated the exhaust tips BLACK. In addition, had a piece of aluminum fabricated to fit above the exhaust tips. Running with no muffler and rear cat delete, the heat was discoloring the carbon fibre. If anyone else is running this way, you should take a look. It also gives it a bit of a menacing look. In addition, I removed the muffler box that was still in the engine compartment. This does a couple of things. The engine bay heat now has a direct path out of the rear screen, keeping the bay cooler. You can see the pipes through the screen, pretty cool. And looking from inside the engine bay, it really looks good to see the exposed pipes.

  3. Looks nice how is the sound. ? Did you notice better throttle response or more torque after the setup over stock. ?

  4. I already had the exhaust set-up. I just ceramic coated it, and removed the muffler box. The muffler had already been removed, as well as the rear cats. I dyno'd at 480rwhp with the changes.

  5. Yep, I love it!

    Nice work. :)

I plan on adding a Tubi to the TR when I can scrape up the funds.

  8. Thanks alot. The sound is unreal. I have never heard anything like it. Dont know how to do the sound clip thing.

  9. Your exhaust area looks great without the heat shield.

  10. How did you dyno the car as RWD if it is AWD?

  12. Use a Dyno that is set up for AWD, or disconnect the front drive.
