Agreed that this is an awesome spec. I have seen many other amazing specs on these cars though, so picking a favorite, for me, is very difficult!

Wrong..sorry. It was discussed here a few weeks ago and pretty much concluded that black is a horrible color for a countach.

Depends on the variant. I think black looks bad on a lp400, and interior also matters a lot.

Normally I hate black cars, but the Countach looks good in black. However it is not my favorite.

Imo,if black, the interior must be light color, (the Dugan car with white interior ,is really nice)also imo ,Anniversary cars look better in black than other variants, its got more Beef, and Handles the Shrink effect better. All beeing said, there is no bad color for a Countach.

Black is awesome. I like that 400S David Anderson low body that sold a few years ago.

We love all our black cars, with whatever color interior actually.

I am sometimes asked specifically for a black Countach by the way.

In fact black Supercars are a big thing, for example, in the Ferrari world a black F50 or Enzo can sell for a significant premium, as I have personally experienced.

I think it all has to do with the suitability of the color on a low, wide, sleek & mean design, it makes the car more sinister and is somehow very appropriate

I've got to agree. I recently paid a visit to Ferrari of Denver to see the black 1988.5 that they have there and it definitely photographs better than it looks in person. I think the 25th looks much better in black.

I hope that you would not base your decision on one car. There are some black cars of all Countach variants in existence that are stunning in person. To each his own and your opinion is respected.

A Countach with a proliferation of USA DOT appendages and in average condition such as JLA12332 https://fblod.com/showroom/inventory/lamborghini-countach-za9ca05a0jla12332/ might not be the best example to assess if any color looks good on a Countach, IMO.

    Exactly.

Whilst it's understood that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you need a great clean basis to be able to assess livery.

    For example.

    Here is another black/black award-winning Countach FLA12888.

I can assure anyone reading that it actually looks much better in person than my relatively poor images can ever convey

black looks good on ANY countach variant imo
from the LP400 to the anniversary

there is not one single countach that does not look good in black to me

if it is true it hides some of the lines, it must be added it gives a very sinister and menacing look
